Active Ingredients:
Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis) is a natural soothing agent that also acts as a moisturizer. You know aloe vera primarily as a popular burn soother. It is also an antigingivitis/antiplaque ingredient that helps to soothe and heal sensitive gum tissue.
Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel and prevents decay. Our fluoride comes from fluorite, a naturally occurring mineral crystal.
Menthol is a natural cleansing ingredient that helps to freshen breath and tastes great.
Peppermint and Sage Oils (Mentha piperita and Salvia officinalis) are natural ingredients that help to prevent gingivitis and reduce plaque as well as add a great flavor to our mouth rinse products.
Other Natural Ingredients:
Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is a natural cleansing and soothing agent, from a sun-loving flower in the marigold family. It has been used as a wound-healing salve since the 12th century.
Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia and Echinacea purpurea) is an extract from cone flowers, but it’s much more than a pretty face. It is a natural cleansing and soothing agent with multiple healthful benefits.
Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) is also known as “nature’s antiseptic”. It was passed along to early settlers by Native Americans. Its active components help to soothe and cleanse your mouth.
Grapefruit Seed Extract (Citrus paradisi) has important cleansing properties. This extract does not contain grapefruit juice, which sometimes interacts with medications.
Xylitol is a natural cleansing agent and sweetener praised by consumers and dentists alike. It helps to prevent cavities and has a low glycemic index, important if you’re concerned about blood sugar. Many dentists recommend chewing gum with xylitol.
Vegetable Glycerin is an oral demulcent (which means soothing). We use glycerin derived from palm and canola oil to soothe your mouth and gums and maintain moisture. It creates a protective coating in the mouth, helping to relieve discomfort and sore throat pain.
